Motion Design

The logo draws inspiration from the dynamic curves of a racetrack, embodying the energy of the sport. I designed motion transition incorporates the repeatition as a way to represent and organize contents of NASCAR's three iconic race series. This motion system integrates seamlessly with the identity, reinforcing the essence of the brand elevation.

For the new NASCAR website, the goal is to delivers a flexible digital experience, seamlessly connecting a visual system with motion components tailored to the website's core user scenarios.

New campaigns feature primary graphic elements inspired by racing tracks and speed, seamlessly integrated with the wordmark's shape. These elements create an efficient graphic library, adaptable for large-scale branding efforts.

By collaborating with diverse drivers of different races, featuring all genders, and incorporating humor and graphic collage elements, this demonstrates flexible ways to mix and match messages and content.

The brand identity system overview covers the wordmark, typography, graphic elements, animation logic, and spatial graphics.

Toward the end of the project, I aimed to create a race event opening animation that expands on the wordmark concept and incorporates 3D motion graphics.
